Using fine surgical instruments through a number of small incisions, complex gynaecological surgery is performed to minimise trauma of surgery. This reduces the duration of hospital stay and incident of wound infection compared to open surgery. Short incisions on skin provides better cosmetic results. Surgery for uterine fibroids, removal of uterus, endometriosis and pelvic mass can be carried out efficiently with safety.
